The information on the travel websites is accurate, and the photos are real. The rooms were perfect, clean, and completely new. Food is purchased here, but it tastes homemade and delicious. Free transfers to and from the border and to the beach are a great bonus. The hotel is near a highway where minibuses stop, making it easy to continue traveling around Abkhazia. Everything was great, and I highly recommend staying here.

We had a very good stay for the money. Our three-bed room on the fourth floor was spacious, with a large private bathroom, included bed linen and towels, and a shared balcony overlooking the sea and garden. WiFi often failed in the room, so we went onto the balcony. The sea is nearby, though the winding route can be steep and gravelly. We bought delicious figs from a family on the way 😁. Check-in was delayed because the room wasn’t ready until evening. We were put temporarily in a simple room with shared outdoor toilets and a shower divided between two rooms without locks. A centipede was hiding from the heat in the shower 😂, but it didn’t stop us using it. Dinner was disappointing because the third portion was missing. It was chicken thigh with stewed cabbage, with tea or coffee, but no salads or other delicacies. We only ate there once since our travel company was constantly touring the region and we ate lunch and dinner elsewhere. The hosts were welcoming and polite, and let us use the iron whenever we wanted. Special thanks for opening the gate while we were driving our own car around 😄, and for accepting our dog. She occasionally scolded the owners 😁, but they were very understanding.

The organization was very good, from meeting guests through meals, excursions, and free rides to the sea. The guesthouse rooms are beautifully decorated and have stunning views. Staying there gives you a real sense of Caucasian hospitality, and I highly recommend it.

My wife and I stayed here at the end of June 2018, and the ten days flew by. The room was spacious, bright, and clean, while the food was tasty, varied, and nicely presented. Arthur served it with jokes and music, which made meals even more enjoyable. Zoya Petrovna was a warm and welcoming host who knew a lot about the local sights and told us about them in an interesting way. Arthur drove guests to the beach and back in a minibus.
