Hotel Andorra Palace

Andorra is fantastic to visit and shopping is cheap, especially for drinks and cigarettes. The annoying part is parking, since you can’t leave your car on the streets and have to use a car park.

This is the simplest and most dated of the three connected hotels, Novotel and Mercure being the other two. The good thing is that guests can use the other properties’ facilities free of charge, including the pool with jacuzzi and saunas, the children’s playground, and the gym. Everything is included. Breakfast is served at Mercure and costs 16 euros per adult. Lunch and dinner are at Novotel, priced at 19 / 20 euros on Friday and the weekend. Parking is at Novotel and costs 24-26 euros.

The room was filthy when we checked in at 20:00. Room 402 had not been cleaned properly, with dirty floors, hair on the floor, tub, and walls, dusty light fixtures, and carpets that clearly needed cleaning. I had to wear shoes to keep my feet clean, and the bathroom was dirty too. The rooms were the worst quality and I was extremely disappointed. The hotel also seemed badly managed. Check-in took 40 minutes. When I asked Joana for help, her expression made it seem as though she was saying, “Don’t bother me.” Another front desk employee, bayon, even called the “Police!!!!!!!!!!!” when our room had not been cleaned. The staff did not want to clean it and called the police instead. He said, “This is the policy of this hotel. The room is not cleaned and the police need to be called for help.” I could write more, but it feels like a waste of time. I do have photos attached. Please take my advice and don’t go to this Andorra Placace. You don’t want to be waiting for your room to be cleaned at 20:00. And there is no parking at the hotel.

The location is a strong point, just a few meters from the center, and everything was clean and orderly. The breakfast buffet, if you choose it, is very complete. My only suggestion would be to refresh the design of the hotel and rooms. They feel a little old-fashioned, which I know is common in Andorra, but white curtains, better mattresses, and a more minimalist look could make them feel newer.
