Hotel Zenit Diplomatic

I was pleasantly surprised by this place, especially because I wanted to be close to the bus station. The back rooms were beautiful and super quiet, and the receptionists were patient and cheerful. I don’t really understand the reviews saying the hotel needs renovation. Even the booking.com photos are outdated. In my opinion, the facilities weren’t old, although they weren’t perfect either. The customer service and facilities were excellent for the cost, and I’ll come back if I visit Andorra again.

Our stay in Andorra was completely ruined after a receptionist’s mistake caused us to lose our pre-booked rooms. There were no rooms available anywhere else in Andorra la Vella, and instead of helping us find a solution, the staff showed no professionalism or willingness to assist. We ended up spending the night on uncomfortable chairs in the hotel lobby. That is completely unacceptable and not worthy of any hospitality standard. I’ve traveled to more than 40 countries and have never had such an unpleasant stay. I travel often, and this level of negligence and lack of care is unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend Hotel Zenit Diplomatic to anyone.

The only good thing was the location, just two minutes from Meritxell Ave. Otherwise, the facilities were old and poorly maintained. One of the two elevators was out of order, and the receptionists seemed unprofessional and completely unenthusiastic. We had booked more than a month ahead and received confirmation for a double bed, but were given two single beds instead. The room was dirty, as if it hadn’t even been swept, and the walls were damaged, badly painted, and dirty. The bathroom wasn’t clean either. I don’t recommend this place.

For the price, this place really isn’t bad. It’s an old building, but it was clean, and the beds were big enough for two people. We still enjoyed our stay. I don’t understand why people complain that the building and facilities are old. If you want everything to be new, choose a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ hotel and pay hundreds of euros. Just saying.
