The accommodation was barely acceptable for a three-star hotel, and the school-trip experience was grim. The front-desk staff seemed pleasant at first, but the rep was incompetent. We arrived late after 10-12 hours without food and were repeatedly told to wait because they knew we were hungry and tired. The rooms became much worse within a day. During inspection we learned that some rooms had toilets that didn't work, although fortunately ours wasn't one of them. One roommate trashed the beds, and that revealed what we had been sleeping on. His bed had a bent leg that later snapped, leaving him on the floor. The bed beside him was stained and had cigarette burns on the mattress. Another mattress and bed were better, but the window beside it wouldn't open because it was broken. The bunk had no ladder, the bottom bed had to be climbed, and paper clips were being used where the mesh supporting the top bunk had snapped. The door lock didn't work either, so the room didn't feel safe. Food and entertainment were poor. A child vomited on the third day, and there was still a sick stain in the back left corner of the restaurant. The working pool table was the only decent activity. The football table was broken and the air hockey table had no puck. I wouldn't stay here unless price was the only consideration.

Churros at breakfast were a great start, and the half-board meals were good. The staff were friendly and the prices felt fair for what was provided. The hotel is next to the cabine, although the room was on the small side. It was clean and well prepared, and the value was good.

This is a sensible budget option for a family ski trip. The half-board package offers good value, and since you're out all day, the lack of extras isn't really a problem. Nothing fancy, but it suits that kind of holiday.

The price is really the only advantage. The beds are terrible, the room smelled, and Wi-Fi didn't work in the fifth-floor rooms. There was mould on the wall, and the bathroom equipment wasn't working properly.
