The hotel itself was a good base, and I’d stay there again if the ski deal was right. The staff we met were all friendly and hardworking, especially in the restaurant, where they handled long shifts with a smile. The bar was a pleasant place for a beer, and the drinks were reasonably priced. Half board was better than expected. Breakfast went beyond a basic continental spread, with cereal, fried eggs, bacon, and questionable sausages. Dinner was buffet-style with meat, fish, salads, and other choices. There was a school group during our stay, so some meal times overlapped and things became a little loud. The ski lift location was the main reason we chose Arinsal. The chair lift is very close, and there’s a good run back down, but the resort felt more suited to beginners or families. There isn’t much après-ski apart from places such as the Irish bar, and the slopes at Pal-Arinsal weren’t especially long, so it sometimes felt like we spent more time on the lifts than skiing. The town is also a bit of a walk away, though it isn’t particularly lively anyway.

This was our third visit to Yomo Patagonia, and the staff again exceeded expectations. Reception and the restaurant were both fantastic, and because we were a group of 9, the hotel arranged rooms together and set up a large table for our dinners. The ski lift is right beside the hotel, the ski bus stops there, and free parking was another big convenience. Breakfast was very good, while dinner was the highlight, with a huge range of salads, hot dishes, and a bar. The only drawbacks were the small gym and the lack of a pool. Yomo Patagonia, see you next year! ⛷️

The rooms were very clean, the facilities were good, and the showers over the bath worked well. It’s uphill from the village, but the ski hire shop is only a few steps away, with the chairlift beside it. The staff were friendly, the bar was pleasant, and the drinks were well priced. We had a great holiday.

We stayed four nights in a spacious, comfortable twin room. Breakfast was good, but the dinners were especially enjoyable because the wide salad selection changed each day. The reception and restaurant teams were both extremely kind and polite, and we’d definitely stay again.
