Hotel Peretol gave us an excellent week. Laura was a huge help with arranging the skiing and transfers, while the rest of the team were friendly and welcoming. The meals were tasty and generous. It was a lovely place to unwind in the evenings after skiing, and we hope to come back next year.

The quiet setting is a real advantage, with a button lift right beside this chalet hotel that takes you toward the main ski area of Soldeu and Pas de la Casa. Soldeu itself is around a 30-minute walk or a 10-minute taxi ride, so it isn’t the best choice if you want to be in the resort centre. Otherwise, I couldn’t fault it. There’s a nearby ski hire shop with a free bus up the hill, which is very convenient for anyone renting equipment. Laura, the manager, was fantastic. She offered us drinks at the welcome meeting when we arrived early, gave helpful advice about lift passes, and even went out of her way to help after our return flight was changed from Toulouse to Barcelona.

The team at Hotel Peretol made our week especially easy with our 13-month-old baby. They played with her, arranged an early dinner for her every evening, and provided both a cot and a changing mat. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. We also skied directly from the hotel each day, so it was a wonderful stay.

This hotel has a warm family atmosphere, with genuinely helpful staff and very good food. Its ski-in, ski-out location was perfect for us, and we’d definitely recommend it.

Our large group stayed here in January 2024, and the service was remarkably personal. The friendly staff prepared both breakfast and dinner and went out of their way to handle everyone's dietary requirements. They also organised transport to and from the slopes, while a nearby ski-rental shop delivered all our equipment on arrival and collected it on our final day. 10/10 would recommend.
