The location is the one thing I liked. It’s about four minutes from the lift ticket shop and the slopes. The table was already in that state, and the cleanliness was deplorable. There’s no dishwasher, and they don’t provide cleaning products each day, just soap for the first day. We booked and paid for a room for four without being told there was no elevator, so we had to haul our luggage up and down stairs. We also booked parking, but nobody mentioned we’d need a small car.

For the money, the apartment was more than adequate: two beds, a double sofa bed, and a renovated bathroom. It was a bit dirty, though. The price was easily the best part, half what the other places calling themselves cheap charged. It’s also right across from a ski slope, with shops all around.

We just came across this place and popped in. It felt welcoming, almost like a family place, and it was clean. The staff were attentive, kind, and smiling. We tried some really good pastries, and they have combo meals as well as lunch and dinner. A nice place to stop.

The service was anything but friendly, and they charged us €40 because we arrived seven minutes late. Given the condition of the apartment, that fee could easily have been waived. It’s well located, but really dirty: hair all over the sheets, pet hair and grime on the floor, plus loads of dust.
