Sercotel Delfos Andorra

4 stars? It felt more like a 2-star hotel, with the other two perhaps coming from the location and the friendly reception service. A supposed double room had two beds separated by a gap, but only one duvet. Breakfast was generic and reminded me of a cheap mass-tourism resort. The ingredients seemed to be the lowest-cost choices, including industrial pastries, poor sandwich bread, dispenser jams and juices. The coffee tasted as though it had expired five years ago, and the boiled eggs were cold from the fridge, like they'd been prepared days earlier. I won't return.

The room temperature was 28 degrees on our first night. We thought we'd set something incorrectly, but after complaining the next day, nobody looked into it. When we raised it again, we were told there was no air conditioning and that we should switch off the ventilation. We did, yet the room was back at 28 degrees overnight. The next morning brought only a half-hearted apology. We also tried to charge our electric car. The parking spot was said to be reserved, but it stayed empty the entire time, or motorbikes were parked there instead. The food didn't seem up to the standard expected of a 4-star hotel. Maybe we were unlucky because it was the off-season, but we stayed for two nights and the experience was disappointing.

The staff were kind and welcoming, and the hotel is conveniently located near the center of Andorra. Public transport is easy to reach, as is the pedestrian street. I liked everything and had no complaints.

The location made everything easy, right in the center of Andorra. We stayed last weekend with our little one and my parents, and everyone had a great time. The hotel was clean, the rooms felt modern, and all the staff were lovely. Breakfast had a good range of choices too. One of the best hotels we've stayed at in a while. 10/10, we'll be back.
