There were too many extra charges and too many basic things missing. The bathroom smelled terrible, the only dish soap was a tiny packet that lasted one wash, and there were no napkins, mop, or proper supplies. Internet costs 5 euros per night, pets are charged 15 euros PER NIGHT, and cleaning costs 75 euros. That feels excessive for an Airbnb, especially when guests are already expected to dry and put away the dishes. There isn’t even a proper reception, which is worrying if something happens at any hour. At least provide a decent dishwasher and napkins, which wouldn’t cost 5 euros. You’re asking far too much for what’s provided.

The main positives are the price, the location, and the views. Access is difficult because there’s a very steep ramp, and we had to reach the third floor without an elevator. They gave us the best apartment available, but it was quite old and somewhat dirty. If cleanliness isn’t a major concern, it could be a good-value option. The facilities are due for an update.

The heating and hot water worked properly, which was a plus. Everything else was let down by the condition of the place. After climbing a very steep street, we had to carry our luggage up to the third floor because there was no elevator. There were spiders on the ceiling above the beds, chewing gum from someone unknown in the bedside table, and terrible soundproofing, so we could clearly hear people arriving at other apartments during the night. The blankets also need replacing, and the apartment lacked proper cleaning.

The views were the best part, which is why I’m giving it two stars. The apartment itself was poorly cleaned and full of white hairs when we arrived. The bathroom lid was broken, the toilet-roll holder was falling off, the sink didn’t drain, and there was no cloth, mop, or proper way to wash the dishes. There’s a pet surcharge, though it doesn’t seem to come with any extra cleaning. The kitchen is extremely small and has nowhere convenient to leave washed items. The listing says Wi-Fi, pets, and air conditioning are available, but only later do you learn that all of them cost extra.
