Aparthotel Anyóspark Mountain & Wellness Resort

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had incredible views, but the service was so poor that we wouldn't return. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, although the food was not very good. Shuttle places fill quickly because there are only two, and staff offered no useful alternative. We were repeatedly assured that the first shuttle would take us to Arinsal, where we needed to collect rentals, but it left us at Pal instead. Getting a local bus cost us an hour. That evening, with no shuttle available, the hotel took twenty minutes to respond to our taxi request and then, after another ten minutes, said nobody could collect us. A restaurant eventually found us a taxi while we stood outside in the cold with skis. On our final day, they dismissed our request for transport back after skiing because the available shuttle was too late for our bus to BCN. They were equally unhelpful about a 1:30 late checkout. We made four calls, were told a manager might appear around 10 or 11, and then reception refused to contact that manager. The hotel itself is beautiful, but the staff's indifference and disorganization were ridiculous.

The room had a constant damp and drainage smell, and housekeeping failed to service it three times or leave fresh towels. Breakfast was also poor, with average food, dirty plates still carrying residue, and fruit that repeatedly ran out. After several days we ate in town instead. The main problem began with the Mountain View Suite. The online photos showed the bed facing the mountains, but our bedroom was separate and had no mountain view. Reception only said the pictures were “example photos,” something that had never been explained before booking. Staff couldn't even say which rooms had beds facing the view because they claimed not to have a floor plan. A manager was promised for the next day but never appeared, and one receptionist turned to another guest while I was still speaking. I sent a formal complaint on 25/01 and received no acknowledgement or response. Misleading room advertising, poor hygiene, weak service, and no accountability make this poor value for money. I would not return.

The dinner buffet ruined much of our stay at AnyósPark. We booked half board, but the food was tasteless, the supposed hot dishes were cold, and many buffet plates were dirty. We tried it once and avoided it for the rest of the week because we were worried about the poor hygiene and getting sick. That meant arranging dinner for 10 people every night during peak season, when restaurants were nearly full, which took time and created a lot of stress. The rooms were also badly soundproofed, so conversations, footsteps, and other noise carried almost constantly. We reported the problems at reception several times, emailed, and were repeatedly promised contact from management. After 2 weeks and multiple reminders, including a promised email before 19:00, there was still no response or acknowledgement. The poor rooms, unacceptable dinners, and complete lack of management accountability seriously damaged our holiday. I can't recommend this hotel.

After more than 20years as a customer, I never expected this hotel to become so disappointing. We had three rooms with family and friends, an apartment, a studio, and a hotel room. The apart hotel rooms were neglected, with scuffed walls, missing pieces, poorly maintained old bathrooms, cold nights, and weak insulation. My friends' neighbours held a party and they couldn't sleep all night. The hotel rooms were better, although I personally thought the latest renovation made them look worse. Shuttle trips to the slops were almost never available except at 11:30, returning at 15:30, and the one 09:30 trip we got was delayed by 1hour. We had to pay for parking at both the hotel and the slopes. Dinner used to be very good, but now the food repeats every day and isn't especially good. It's sad to see one of the hotels I loved in Andorra decline like this, but I won't stay again.
