Apartamentos Segle XX

The hotel’s location made getting to the main attractions easy, and the menu was varied as well as delicious. What really made the stay enjoyable, though, was the friendly staff, who always seemed ready to help and made the place feel welcoming. It was a lovely experience, and I’d happily recommend it.

This was honestly the worst hotel I’ve visited. The rooms were dirty, smelled of cigarettes, and had around 4 beds. There was only one elevator, so waits were very long, or you had to climb 7 stories. The supposed ski room was outside, and during our stay the showers didn’t even have hot water. Heating was turned off at night, making the rooms very cold, while the sauna was so tiny that it couldn’t really be used. Getting around was another major problem. The gondolas are a HUGE 20 min uphill walk away, with no sidewalk, and the shuttle only runs occasionally, creating a queue. Without a car, there was literally no way to leave for dinner. The hotel is in a nice area and some people were nice, but that doesn’t make up for everything else. I know this sounds extreme, but you really want to stay away from this place.

Segle XX Andorra was a particularly good fit for skiing, since it is close to the lift. The hotel was very clean, cozy, and relaxed, with lovely rooms containing everything we needed for a skiing holiday. The help desk was excellent. The staff spoke English very well and were happy to help with advice, bookings, and similar requests. WiFi was also excellent throughout the hotel. The buffet was great and reasonably priced, so I’d especially suggest this hotel for families and couples.

The atmosphere was cosy and homely, and for the price this was the best quality I’ve come across. We stayed for 5 days in March as a couple to ski, and the staff were incredibly helpful with everything we needed. The location is really beautiful, breakfast was good quality and abundant, and the pool and sauna were nice extras. We had a lovely stay and will be back this winter. ☺️
