Sport Hotel Village

The breakfast was the one strong point beyond the view. The buffet had plenty of choice, and its staff were helpful and professional. Everything else felt closer to a one-star stay than the supposed four stars. Our room overlooked the slopes, but the view was the only good part. The room was old, the carpet dirty, and the bathtub had a glued and painted hole that still leaked and kept the floor wet. The mattress was rock hard, while the TV was small and outdated, like something from 2014. One of the two elevators was also faulty. Its doors made a loud bang when closing and reopened. I complained to reception and asked them to repair it or take it out of service, but nothing happened. The Spa costs an extra €80 per person from 6 pm to 9 pm, and bathrobes and slippers are not included. The three jacuzzis on level 1 were only 30c. The main pool, which supposedly lets you go outside, was 32c, but reaching the outside area meant passing through a waterfall and sitting out in freezing weather with a wet head. There were no tea or drinks services, only two barely functioning water machines. At more than €300 per night, I will never return. I am not sure how miserable your life has to be to give this place five stars 🙈

The staff were amazing, the food was great, and the hotel has an excellent boot room with almost ski in ski out convenience. There is also a tunnel leading to the Spa facility next door. Superb hotel.

The rest of the experience felt like five stars, but the half-board dinner brought the rating down. There was a good range of buffet choices, yet the food was barely warm, and I do not enjoy lukewarm pasta or cold steak. The hot plates were there, but they did not seem to be switched on when I touched them. The maître d was not approachable, so we ate out on two nights. A real shame for an otherwise excellent hotel.

The customer service was the best I have ever experienced. Ana was the best!
