Being stranded in Abu Dhabi during a crisis was already stressful, but our experience at Al Seef Resort & Spa by Andalus left us feeling taken advantage of. My father and I had come for his U.S. Embassy visa appointment, but our flights were canceled because of the regional conflict and airspace closures, and the embassy shut down. The hotel knew what was happening but repeatedly demanded daily written airline confirmation of the cancellations, even though closed airspace meant flights were not operating and such documentation was impossible. We showed airline messages confirming the cancellations, but staff continued asking for paperwork that did not exist. The meal vouchers were also misleading. We were told that support was being provided to stranded travelers for extended stays and meals, with no explanation that the vouchers would later be charged. At checkout, the hotel billed us for them anyway. Our room had unacceptable conditions too. Ants filled the kitchen area, and whenever we made tea they came out and literally filled our cups. The rooms also looked much more luxurious and clean online than they did in reality. Instead of transparency and basic hospitality, we experienced unexpected charges, poor cleanliness, and constant pressure for impossible documents.

Al Seef Resort in Abu Dhabi remains one of our favorite places to stay. Our room was exceptionally clean and cozy, and it genuinely felt like home. The quiet surroundings made it easy to sleep deeply, while waking to birdsong and having coffee in the morning was a perfect start to the day. The facilities are very well maintained and add a lot to the comfort of the visit. This place never disappoints, and we’ll always come back.

This was my first booking at Andalus Al seef Hotel, and it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in the UAE. The Arabian architecture, gardens, and unique atmosphere are beautiful, and the cleanliness was excellent. The buggy service was especially good, while the pool and gym are both well worth using. There are many restaurant choices, and I would have tried them all if I’d stayed longer. I especially recommend the owl cafe, korean restaurant, and Andreas Di Venezia Italian restaurant, which was super authentic. The hotel works well for families and couples looking for a staycation. Every staff member was friendly and helpful, and the hosts and reception team were polite and welcoming. I’ll definitely book again. Thank you to the Andalus Al seef Hotel team for the excellent service.

We spent five nights here in January and were absolutely delighted. The gated area felt very private, with few people around, and the heated pools were a great feature. There are lots of restaurants on site, including several serving breakfast, as well as two large swimming pools and a children’s playground. A shopping mall nearby has a grocery supermarket and a kids’ entertainment area. There is also a mosque close by, and Yas Island is about a 20-minute drive away. Highly recommended.

Andalus Al Seef Resort & Spa was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Mario, Pye, Hansel, and Marie were consistently friendly, attentive, and willing to go the extra mile, making us feel comfortable and genuinely welcome. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and the room exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed, with excellent attention to detail. It was exactly the kind of place where we could unwind. I wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended.
