My two weeks at Oaks Liwa were better than expected. The staff were friendly, the cleaners were efficient, and everyone was helpful. The room was easily 4 star quality, with a good view, air conditioning, a sliding door, and everything working properly, including the iron board, WiFi, TV, wardrobes, bath tub, and private parking. The lounge kitchen was fully equipped with crockery, spoons, and forks, so there was no need to bring kitchen equipment except perhaps a blender. The cleaners even wash the dishes. My only real downside was the lack of room service. Private basement parking was one of the best features, especially since many nearby hotels do not offer it. It is reserved for residents after 9pm.

The rooms are modern, spacious, and clean, and the service across the hotel is top notch. For me, it’s simply one of the best hotels in Abu Dhabi.

I was warmly welcomed in both Arabic and English, which was a nice start. The wooden decorations were lovely, and I enjoyed the street view. The kitchen was fully equipped, even including a baking pan, so really everything was provided. There are restaurants all around, and the sea view is only 2 blocks away. Thanks.

The room had an old, unpleasant smell and the drainage was very poor. I was also given a back-facing room, which already felt depressing, but demolition work there started at 7 am on a weekend. I had been considering a long-term stay, yet they did not even try to give me a better apartment or leave a good impression. There was zero value for me, and I won’t return.

This used to be my favourite hotel in Abu Dhabi for long stays, and this was my 4th or 5th visit. Unfortunately, the receptionists during this stay were rude and completely unsupportive. Apart from that, the hotel is good, but the poor reception experience changed my view of the stay.
