Ramee Garden Hotel Apartments

For a longer stay in Abu Dhabi, this is one of the most affordable hotels. I stayed for 10 days and found everything else just right. Housekeeping came every day, and the room had a fully equipped kitchen and a washing machine. The main problem was the WiFi. It was extremely slow, almost like using a 2G connection.

I’m still staying at Ramee Apts, in muroor, abu dhabi, because I paid for all 7 nights in advance, but I’m really disappointed. For 2 guests, the room came with just 1 of each item, and there was no extra coffee, tea, or milk. Staff initially said we had to buy everything ourselves. After a big argument, he sent more coffee and milk, but they insisted that 1 of each item is only provided as a compliment on the first day. If guests have to purchase everything anyway, taking a flat would make more sense than staying in a hotel apartment. Cleanliness is poor too, and the washing machine doesn’t work properly. It’s definitely not worth the price.

This is the worst hotel in town, in my experience. There’s no room service, not even dental kits, and the room feels like a 1980 model with a terrible toilet. I found flies in the room and the surroundings smelled bad. There’s no restaurant either. Please don’t book this place based on fake reviews from hotel booking sites. Expedia shows rates of AED 800 and AED 700 for this hotel, which feels like cheating. Paying AED 800 to stay here is like paying for a bus shelter. Stay away.

I lived in the apartments for 2 years, and the building was very difficult to live in. We struggled with bed bugs the entire time. After we moved out, the maintenance team reported untrue damage claims, and I later realized this seemed to be a way of avoiding a security deposit refund. My own mistake was not taking pictures of the studio flat before handing over the keys. Renovation work also began without any prior notice to tenants. It was only after some months that they put up a construction notice.
