Arabian Nights Village

Being completely cut off from the world was actually one of the nicest parts of staying there. There’s no cell service, although you can usually get some by climbing to the top of a dune, quick tip. My wife and I spent two nights at Arabian Nights Village, surrounded by beautiful desert sand dunes, and loved the whole experience. The rooms were clean and welcoming, while the staff were warm, friendly, and ready to help whenever we needed anything. Dinner and breakfast were excellent and filling enough to keep us going all day. It felt like a real old school Bedouin experience, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for something like that.

We brought the whole family, including our cousins, and ended up having a really lovely day. The package was well organized and covered camel riding, sandboarding, a buffet, and an evening show with both male and female traditional dancers. They even brought people from the audience into the performances. After the show, we could stay as long as we wanted around the bonfire in the traditional desert seating area. The price felt very reasonable for everything included. The buffet was good too, with starters, main dishes, dessert, and plenty of vegetarian choices.

The staff are a huge part of what makes this place work. They’re close by whenever you need help, but they don’t intrude on your space, and their hospitality is better than what you get at some chain hotels. The setting is deep in the Arabian desert, but it still has everything needed to relax, detox, and recharge. For a weekend staycation, it’s one of the best getaways, and definitely worth visiting.

The big villa was spacious and turned out to be a great choice. Getting there was part of the experience too, with a pleasant dirt road passing farms and houses before we reached the place. The kind staff greeted us at the entrance and showed us where to go. We tried camel riding before iftar, leaving at about 17:40 and getting back around 18:00. Afterward, we were told our iftar was being prepared, and they served the salads and main dishes we wanted. Everything was very delicious, and dessert included um ali, vanilla cake, and coffee. We walked around until 3am, then got up the next morning to climb a very tall sand hill with a great view. The service and food were excellent, and the location was so peaceful.
