For what we paid, this worked well enough for our one-night stay while we attended an OCR event at Khorfakkan Amphitheater. We booked through Agoda, and finding the hotel on Google Maps was easy. There were 3 adults and 1 toddler with us. We received a 1-bedroom unit with a living hall, and an extra bed was placed in the living area. The reception staff were friendly, and they let us choose our room at check-in. The room was fine, but a few things were missing or needed attention. The TV didn’t work at first, so we had to ask someone to fix it. It only offered local channels, with no English channels, and it wasn’t a smart TV, so streaming apps weren’t possible. I think hotels, whether small or large, really need to update their TVs to smart TVs nowadays. The heater also had to be switched on manually. Tea and free water were available, though there was no 3-in-1 coffee in the pantry. The swimming pool and billiard table shown in the hotel photos weren’t available during our visit, but we didn’t need them anyway. It’s a small, decent hotel for the price. Just don’t arrive expecting luxury, and it should be comfortable enough.

Ayza, Honeybee, Junaid, and the receptionist were all incredibly kind and supportive. The ladies and the gentleman were professional throughout, and their help made me feel very well looked after. I’m proud to have been surrounded by such great staff. Everything was amazing, hats off to them.

Our stay from 1st August 2025 at around 5:45 PM until checkout on 2nd August left us with a very poor impression. The biggest issue came just minutes after we left, when reception called and accused us of taking a towel. That was shocking and embarrassing because there hadn’t been any towel in the room when we checked in. We even went back to speak with management and explain what had happened. The room itself was not properly prepared. No towels were provided, so during our short trip we had to buy new ones from the market because we assumed this was the hotel’s policy. The glasses in the room were dirty as well, and we purchased our own glassware for basic hygiene. I’m attaching the towel purchase bill to support our side of the story. The way the matter was handled felt highly unprofessional. There seemed to be no proper room check at check-in or checkout, and housekeeping had not reported either the missing towels or the room’s condition. We were blamed and disrespected without a proper investigation or proof. We hope the hotel improves its internal communication and avoids treating guests this way in the future.

The room was clean and spacious, and the location made things convenient, with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. It’s a good option for a night or 2. The Uganda Lady receptionist was also friendly and welcoming. There were a couple of bathroom problems, though. Water collected in the shower every time I used it, and the bathroom roof was leaking.

Aizah was especially attentive and responsive, and the rest of the hotel staff were friendly and helpful too. Their level of service really impressed me, and they made the whole stay very enjoyable. Thank you for taking care of my needs.
