Abjad Crown Hotel (EX Dubai Palm)

The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable, while the reception gentlemen were polite and professional. Metro stations, RTA bus stops, taxis, restaurants, malls, supermarkets, and hypermarkets are all just a couple of minutes away. Special thanks to Mr. Ahsan, who helped me recover an item I had forgotten in the room. More than five stars from me.

The room was large, but that was the only positive part. Both the room and bathroom were dirty and stained, tissue was not readily available, and there was no drinking water, so bring your own bottle. The AC made a generator-like noise all night. The door was old and difficult to open, and the key failed repeatedly. One receptionist tried to fix it, another issued a new key, and even that failed until a third key finally worked. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve had.

Our stay was disappointing. The bathrooms had stains, the faucets were rusty, and there was an unpleasant smell. The AC was extremely noisy, almost like a generator, yet it still failed to cool the room properly, so sleeping was difficult. Basic items such as a dental kit were also unavailable when requested. I wouldn’t recommend the place.

I’m currently staying at Abjad Crown Hotel Dubai and have found it clean, comfortable, and well located. The rooms are spacious, the staff are very cooperative, and the metro, shops, and restaurants are nearby. Although it’s a mid-range hotel, the rates are very reasonable for what it offers. A good budget-friendly choice in Dubai.
