Al Bandar Rotana – Creek

Diane, Ahmed, Rabab, and Lucky made breakfast feel especially welcoming. They greeted everyone with genuine smiles and took extra care to make guests comfortable. The food was fresh, delicious, and varied, while the breakfast area stayed spotless and well maintained. Their attention to detail made each morning a pleasant start to the day.

The room was nice, the creek view was lovely, and the half board buffet was delicious. I also enjoyed the sauna, although the small pool was always full of kids, so we couldn’t use it. The major problem was check-in. We arrived around 2pm on Wed and didn’t get into the room until 6:30pm, a wait of 4.5 hours. I’m guessing Eid holiday reservations caused a domino effect, possibly because earlier guests checked in late and asked for late check-out. They refunded the room upgrade as compensation, but still expected us to check out around 12pm on Friday. I hope reservations are managed more smoothly next time.

The pool was a real highlight, large, clean, and well maintained, with plenty of space for families. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable, and spotless, and having small beds for the children made things easier. Room service was excellent too. Breakfast and dinner were outstanding, with lots of tasty choices. Every staff member we met was friendly, professional, and helpful. Addi deserves special thanks for being so kind, cooperative, and attentive throughout our stay. We had a wonderful time and would gladly return for another holiday, family gathering, or special occasion.

Najma made our anniversary stay especially memorable by moving us to a creek view room and surprising us with an anniversary cake. She was incredibly kind. Customer service was excellent from the valet through to the front desk and everyone else. The hotel itself is clean, attractive, and comfortable. We enjoyed the coffee machine and the bathtub, and getting around was easy, including taking a taxi boat across the creek to try other restaurants. We’d happily come back and recommend it. Kimi mentioned that private pool rooms will be opening soon, so I only wish we had booked a little later.
