The apartments have some very good layouts, and the buildings generally feel much more carefully planned than many of the high school-project-looking developments around Dubai. Some people criticize the finishing quality, but to me it’s no worse than, and sometimes better than, other buildings in the city. Certain apartment types also have excellent balconies. The gym is well equipped and has a surprisingly nice view toward the “sea” and butj al arab. The pool is good-sized and includes a useful kids section. The building and its surroundings work especially well for children, and there are plenty of guest parking spaces. Two grocery shops are only about a 5 min walk away. Staff are mixed. Most are friendly and genuinely helpful, though some aren’t. Traffic is the main inconvenience. There’s no “official” pedestrian crossing over the service road, so crossing depends on motorists being polite and driving carefully. At least the park can be reached under the bridge without crossing the main road. Road noise can be quite heavy during busy periods, especially weekend nights. That affects roadside buildings throughout this area, and noise radars would help if they were ever installed.
