Al Shahla

We had a great time walking around Palm Jumeirah and taking in the atmosphere. The views are gorgeous, whether you’re looking toward the beach, the fancy hotels or Dubai’s skyline. It’s wild that this huge island shaped like a palm tree was built out in the sea! There’s plenty to do, from relaxing on the beach and eating at a cool restaurant to checking out the Atlantis hotel and its waterpark. A fun mix of nature, luxury and things to do.🏝️🌴🌈🌊

A tranquil residence in a central spot, close to all the amenities. Easy to get to by car or taxi.

A good family place in Palm Jumeirah. There’s a walking track behind the residential buildings, useful for taking pets out, running or jogging. Spinneys is within walking distance behind the building, and there are plenty of other cafes too.

The entrance felt gloomy and unwelcoming to me, with dim lighting, though maybe you get used to it. The area around Al Shahla is lovely, and from the upper floors you can see as far as Burj Khalifa, with Burj Al Arab and nearby beaches along the way. Nakheel Mall is close by, there’s underground parking, and a jogging track runs behind the apartment buildings. Al Shahla is one of the apartment buildings at the gateway to The Palm, Jumeirah, Dubai. There are different room layouts. The one I saw while helping a friend set up had a roomy bedroom, a well-designed kitchen connected to the central lounge through an open window, a broom closet and a spacious bathroom with a tub. Entry is by RFID card.
