Attessa Tower

Good value for my early June 2023 stay through a local booking agency. I was there for 3-4 weeks and didn’t see any bugs, though other buildings might have them. The people I briefly met seemed nice and professional, and there’s a convenience and grocery store downstairs. The car entrance is attractive, with separate visitor and resident gates and an exit at the cul de sac overlooking Marina. Compared with Marina Keys ( Quays), which is less often available to rent and doesn’t have as many high floors available, Attessa Tower may offer a better chance of getting a higher floor. You need to tap in to reach the elevators, though you can sit freely on the lobby sofas. I’m not sure whether you can push and pull the door despite what its sign suggests. The cutlery drawer in my apartment wasn’t in an ideal spot, so check whether its placement works for you. Apartments may vary. The pool is huge, wide, and long, though not very deep. It’s on the 2-3 floor from ground, I believe on elevator floor 1, to the left when facing the marina and past the gym. Use the key fob on the right side of the last door at Attessa tower. There’s a small, pretty garden leading to the pool, but pets aren’t allowed there for private walks. I didn’t check out the gym. It looked spacious but basic, and I didn’t see pull-up bars. The marina-facing apartment felt humid on the balcony compared with my previous stay in another marina tower. Clothes also took longer to dry. The AC was very strong and I turned it down because I was worried about getting sick. I couldn’t direct the vent in my apartment. Parking is on multiple levels. I can’t speak to general use, but my spot was near the elevator and involved passing a smelly garbage bay behind a few doors. As a dog owner, I’m not sure there’s an off-leash or relief area nearby with cleared grass. The bush outside the lobby wouldn’t work for medium or larger dogs like a Labrador or short hair Pointer. JBR beach is at most a 15-minute walk if you’re slow, and camels walk there, but I’m not sure if dogs can relieve themselves there too. The beach water was boiling hot, even hotter than the air in May and June, and dirty, perhaps because boats pass by. Lots of people swim there. I go to other beaches near Burj Al Arab. If I could afford a long-term rental, I’d choose the building with ToroToro or one across from it, since I’d like an off-leash area within walking distance. For a long-term stay, I thought the monthly or yearly landlord prices posted online were rather high for an older building, although it was comfortable. The marina side is humid when you stand on the balcony, but the view is great. Amenities are fantastic. It seems nice for newcomers and visitors arriving by car. The pool is one floor in the elevator, and I use EMS workout. If you’re curious about EMS, I tell everyone to check Aliexpress for an EMS electro boost suit, machine, and software. It’s expensive, and the suit shocks you every 6 out of 10 seconds during a nonstop 30-minute cardio workout. I wish there were a dog area close by. If you’re considering moving here, I can’t decide for you, and at the asking price in 2023 I’m not sure I’d want to live here long term. Best wishes and good luck if you made it this far!

I spent a year on the 19th floor and loved the views over the beach and marina. Shops, restaurants, and the beach are all within walking distance, and the location is excellent. Living here felt like being on vacation.

I live in Attessa Tower and was surprised there was no Ramadan decor at the entrance. It doesn’t need to be as elaborate as the Christmas display, but even a lighted Ramadan Mubarak crescent at the reception desk would do.

The woman at reception is really rude and is always busy on her phone. She shouldn’t be working at reception.
