The building itself is nice, but management does some odd things with visitor parking. They block spaces with waste bins, put bricks in the parking area, and even chain spaces off, for no clear reason. How are visitors meant to park? It takes far too long for security to come when called.

This is a terrible building to rent in and even worse to own a flat in. Water pipes burst almost every week, and you can’t go to work or send your children to school that day. I keep messaging, emailing and calling maintenance, but get no reply. The so-called owners association can’t get water to its own floor or keep the common area lights on, so how is it supposed to solve building problems? Please don’t get scammed by the flashy real estate people hanging around the front desk and common areas, trying to get you to buy or rent here.

The location is the one bright spot: it’s easy to get in and out, which may come in handy when another pipe bursts. The place looks shiny and new, but the materials are poor and something seems to break every few months. The maintenance team is painfully slow. Put “call facilities” on your calendar well ahead of time, and by the time they arrive you may already have a new problem. Water leaks seem to be a regular feature. Once, a pipe burst at 4 AM and I spent the night mopping my room as the sun came up. Romantic, if you forget the flood. And the gym is there in theory. At this rate, maybe it’ll open when we all retire.

During my tenancy, I absolutely loved living here. The apartments are bright, roomy and well designed, with plenty of natural sunlight. The location is perfect, with easy access everywhere, so commuting and running errands are super convenient.

I’ve lived at Binghatti Crystals for more than a year. The location is a real plus: Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and Emirates Road are easy to reach for commuting, and Silicon Central Mall is very close. There are drawbacks, though. Renovation has been going on since I moved in, and the gym still isn’t open. The corridors have no AC and get uncomfortably hot, especially in summer. If location matters most to you, it has advantages, but consider the unfinished amenities and building management before moving in.
