Brand New 1 Bedroom JVC Binghatti Crescent Apartments

I’ve been here for two years and just renewed for a third, after living in three other JVC buildings. The two-bedroom apartments are spacious and work well for big families. It’s by one of the easiest entrances and exits in JVC, and Circle Mall is a one-minute walk away, so you can find what you need without leaving the area for work. Honestly, one of JVC’s best buildings. There’s construction behind the building on the pool side, but the noise is minimal thanks to good sound insulation.

Binghatti Crescent has been a huge letdown. The building quality is awful, with little or no roof insulation and leaks all over. Bathroom ceilings are collapsing, and bedrooms flood after just a few minutes of rain. The sliding terrace doors have unstable side panels that fall off, and gaps around the windows let water into the rooms after 10-15 minutes of rain. It’s hard to reach maintenance. Neither the 800 numbers nor the office numbers work. The AC is broken, and nobody at Binghatti seems to understand the smart systems. Problems keep piling up, and these units have given me the worst experience. On top of that, construction nearby means dust and banging from 6am every morning. I wish I could give zero stars, or even a negative rating.

The building looks very beautiful, and the one-bedroom apartments are spacious. The pool area is lovely too, though there’s a lot of construction noise at the moment.

I’ve lived here since last year, and the location in JVC is the best. The mall is very close and everything is nearby. The two-bedroom apartments suit families and long-term renters well. There aren’t many Airbnbs or short-term guests, so the building stays quiet and peaceful. I’d make sure to rent a furnished apartment. Bringing furniture in is difficult, and getting management’s permission can take weeks. Small things are allowed.
