In the heart of Deira, this is a lovely hotel just steps from the gold souk and close to metro Al Ras. The staff are friendly, and the rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable. There’s also a restaurant in the basement. Recommended, and I’ll be back.

The family room was comfortable, and the surroundings felt safe and lively. Room service was good, and they cleaned the rooms daily. It was good value for money. Getting a vehicle parked or arranging taxi pickup and drop-off was a bit difficult because the hotel is in a busy market area.

The hotel may be old and not especially well maintained, which could be understandable given its location and price. The cleaning, though, is a basic requirement, and it just wasn't there. There were cockroaches and hair left by previous guests everywhere, dusty corners, black mold, and yellow blankets. The rooms are dirty by European standards. Avoid this place if you have any other option.

This place was very nice for someone with modest needs. It helped me get through my stay in Dubai during the air attacks.

I was there from 11-19 October, and it was a terrible stay in Dubai. The staff were rude and among the worst I've dealt with, and the rooms were disgusting. My bathroom door was broken, and there was no cleanliness overall. They charge a lot for rooms that are very, very small.
