The room had a lovely view, though the one I was first given felt dated and a bit small. Breakfast also fell short of what I expected at the start. I booked after seeing positive photos and reviews, so that first impression was disappointing. Things improved after I shared my feedback. The front desk responded professionally, and Jawad deserves a special thank you for being attentive, courteous, and sincerely committed to guest satisfaction. His proactive help made a real difference. The restaurant manager was kind and responsive as well, and the breakfast quality and choice have noticeably improved. It’s good to see a team listen and act on feedback. The response during my stay showed that guest concerns and ongoing improvement matter to them.

The worst part of the outage was being left without any explanation or help. On Nov 21 2025, around 7 am, we lost electricity, water, intercom, and elevator service. Other guests were stuck in the gallery, children were screaming, and even janitorial staff seemed unaware of what was happening. Only the emergency lights worked. Our room became like a hot gas chamber, and we had to use the stairs from the 10th floor several times. I saw older guests climbing out of breath and panicking. It went on for about four hours. At reception, one staff member could not understand our English; another took over aggressively and said, "...you are not the only one suffering..." Management did not acknowledge what guests had gone through, and there seemed to be no backup system. They never sent even a courteous email about the inconvenience. We felt disgusted and insulted, and after that we booked another nearby hotel for the following week, where we stayed comfortably. The problems started right after we checked in for a week from Nov 17, 2025. The safe showed an error and maintenance spent about an hour fixing it. The receptionist then asked us to sign paperwork acknowledging the repair, which we did not understand. About an hour later, the bathroom flooded because of the bidet pipe. Another technician spent an hour on it. Later that evening, the floor flooded again and a different technician was called to fix the same pipe. Staff told us repairs could only be done while guests were present, so we spent three separate sessions, about three hours total, dealing with room repairs that first day. There was another shower problem too. The tub had only a half panel, so water spread across the bathroom floor and I had to wipe it up by hand. Technicians said all rooms had the same issue. I asked for a full shower curtain, but they turned me down. For the whole week, we wiped up flooded water after every shower so we would not slip. The bathroom floor did not slope toward a drain. The shower faucet seemed to lack a control valve for hot and cold water. The temperature could suddenly get hot enough to burn, then turn cold a few seconds later, so it was impossible to predict. On Day 2, an ear piercing alarm went off in the middle of the night. We panicked and could not sleep afterwards. We did not raise that issue, and hotel staff or management never explained it. Once they had our advance payment, we felt treated like a commodity, with no concern about paying us back. Management came across as arrogant, unprofessional, and aggressive. They lost another week of our stay. Stay away from City season towers Burdubai, there are better alternatives in the same area.

Being right beside Burjuman Metro Station and Burjuman Mall made it easy to get around Old Dubai and visit the nearby Souk. My room was a little small and dated, but adequate. I was there during Ramadan, and the suhoor choices and menu were very limited, which was disappointing.

Neha was easy to approach and consistently helpful throughout my stay. She answered questions, offered recommendations, and checked in to see how things were going. Even small requests got a positive, attentive response. Keep up the good job!
