City Stay Grand Hotel Apartments

Room service staff were friendly, respectful, and helpful during our nine nights. That was a real positive, but the stay from Dec 27-Jan 5 cost AED 4,562 and did not feel worth that price. The bathroom was the biggest hassle. Its shower was a tiny square enclosure with a curtain that did not keep water in, so the whole bathroom flooded whenever an adult or child showered. We had to call staff to dry the floor. The furniture was also old and worn, and I expected better upkeep for a premium rate. When I asked about extending, the front desk would not match the lower rate I found on Agoda. They also declined a complimentary airport transfer despite our long stay, and asked for another AED 200. With the dated interior and flooding, I felt the room was overpriced. A 30% refund would have been fair compensation for the inconvenience.

Caretaker service was very good and helped make the stay smooth and comfortable. City Stay Grand Hotel Apartments was clean and well maintained, with neat, organized rooms and building. The staff were polite, respectful, helpful, and professional. I really liked the place and recommend it. ✨

The bathrooms were disgusting, and the whole hotel smelled terrible from the moment we arrived. Furniture was old and worn too. It was a very disappointing stay, and I wouldn't recommend it.

The room was really big and comfortable, and the location is brilliant. The cleaning staff and baggage helper were very, very nice. Reception needs improvement, though. They seemed lazy and uncooperative.
