Courtyard by Marriott Culture Village, Dubai

The room was lovely, and the rooftop pool was a highlight. We tried the spa services twice, since they were reasonably priced. There’s a small food stall within walking distance with good burgers, zinger burgers, and karak tea. Uber is easy to get, and the hotel is close to every location.

The pool was a highlight for me: it’s quite good and wasn’t too busy. Inside, the hotel is stylish, with nicely done corridors and rooms. My room had everything I needed, and when something was missing, I could ask and they brought it quickly. A big thank you to Mercy for the warm welcome, her hospitality, and the kind farewell. It worked well for a weekend and a longer stay. Everything was perfect, and I’ll definitely come back.

The spa was a pleasant surprise, and breakfast at the restaurant was good. Our room was comfortable and had a good view. The hotel has a small, cosy boutique feel, and Mercy at check-in was especially welcoming and made sure our requirements were met. Most of the team, from the valet onward, gave us a great experience, though some staff could use a little more training. It honestly felt like a five-star stay.

The restaurant downstairs deserves a special mention: Ruth, Dorothy, and all the servers gave truly top-notch service, and the spa was good too. I was travelling alone on business and wanted somewhere clean, spacious, and good value. This newly built hotel generally suited me, with good amenities and a pleasant stay. The bathroom design could be better, and the front desk and room service were slow to respond. Would I return? Yes, it was great value for the price. Four stars feels right.
