I have lived in DAMAC Lakeview in JLT for four years now, and I still don't want to move because: The location is amazing. It's close to prime spots like Marina, JBR Beach, Downtown Dubai, and more. The building management is superb. They keep the building in excellent condition and stay on top of anything we ask for. Security is tight, and the building feels safe. They don't let anyone upstairs who shouldn't be there. Our DAMAC Lakeview community is amazing. The people here are nice and friendly, and we never have problems with anyone. I honestly recommend this tower to all my friends. They have moved here and have absolutely no complaints.

The building and staff are nice, and my 1br has been comfortable, with no insects or maintenance issues. That can vary from one apartment to another, though. The lifts get crowded at certain times. Things went downhill before I left: it was always dirty and full of cockroaches. My only earlier complaint had been about neighbors smoking.

The cockroaches became such a nightmare that I had to break my lease and move. Pest control came repeatedly, but the problem was in the pipes and nobody could fix it. Management barely treated it like a concern. There was even a cockroach in their office when I went to complain, and nobody reacted. It used to be really good, which makes this such a shame. Stay away. Thanks for responding, DAMAC, but I've already moved out. I was in apartment 609, and management can share the emails and cockroach photos I sent. Breaking the contract early cost me a lot, as did staying in a hotel while looking for a new place and arranging an unexpected move. I'm not sure what can be done now. I wish you'd shown concern when I was sending everyone desperate emails.

I rent one of the retail shops and will be glad to leave when the lease ends. We weren't approved to have a washroom inside the shop, so we have to use the shared retail one. It's in awful shape, poorly maintained and always dirty. We're embarrassed to send our clients there, and it should have been renovated long ago. The building also has an AC problem. They blame tenants for not maintaining their Units, but we do what's required regularly and spend quite a lot on it.
