Downtown - Elite Residence 2016

The team at Whitesage Holiday Homes made the check-in and stay easy, and they were very responsive. The apartment at Elite Downtown Dubai was clean, well maintained, and comfortable for either a short or longer visit. It's right in Downtown Dubai, near major attractions, restaurants, and shopping. The modern interiors and relaxed feel made it a lovely place to stay. I'd definitely choose it again and recommend it to anyone looking for a holiday home, short-term rental, or serviced apartment in Downtown Dubai.

Management managed to disable every building access card at once, with no warning, explanation, or communication. Tenants ended up locked out of their own homes and gathered in a chaotic crowd at the entrance. Quite a display of poor foresight and basic consideration. 0/10, wouldn't recommend.

They turned off all the tenants' access cards without telling anyone or explaining why. It caused serious inconvenience and raised security concerns. The lack of respect and professionalism is clear. Residents need a prompt response and transparent communication.

I spent a week in an Airbnb at Elite Residence 2 and had a good stay, so I expected Elite Residence 1 to be similar. The gap between the two buildings is huge. The apartments here are smaller and have much less storage, while the pool area is okay. The rest of the facilities were disappointing. The women's gym is tiny and feels like an afterthought. Half the weights are missing, equipment is left around the floor, and there are no cleaning supplies or paper towels. I couldn't see a cleaning roster, and the air conditioning wasn't on when I went in. From outside, the men's gym clearly looks much larger, and some equipment may have been taken from there and left on the women's gym floor. The steam room smells moldy, the lockers don't work properly, and it's unclear how to use the facilities. Security also seems less controlled than at Elite Residence 2, where a key card is needed to reach the floors. The difference in upkeep and quality is night and day. If you can choose, I'd strongly recommend Elite Residence 2.
