Dream Inn Dubai - Burj Residences

My client registered his apartment with them, but they don’t pay the monthly rent on time. Brokers, beware too: they don’t pay your referral fee. Please protect your client and don’t register here for holiday homes. Doing business with them has been a nightmare. ❌❌❌❌

They cancelled my apartment five days before the trip, and I still don’t know when I’ll get my money back. They said maintenance was underway, but the apartment is still listed on Booking for double the price. They claimed it was a system mistake, but they just lied to me. This company is really a scam. I feel stupid for not checking Google reviews first. I’ll never book with them again. Liars.

I was coming from KSA for a couple of days and booked through Agooda for a Dubai mall unit. The reception manager, as he called himself, phoned me about my request on the website to cancel because I couldn’t get an early check-in. Check-in was at three, which was late for me, and the comments on Google Maps and the apps about this unit were bad, mentioning cleaning, bad smells, check-in time, and other issues. I was trying to explain why I didn’t want the booking, but he deducted the amount while we were still on the phone. He was rude, stubborn, and kept laughing at me, saying I’d found a lower rate elsewhere. I felt very upset, angry, and sad. I need a higher manager to respond, because I’m not going to let this incident go. Check-in time 12 February 2025.

I chose to stay somewhere else on principle, but got no refund. The booking price was doubled by hidden fees, and when I raised it, I was told everything had been clearly labelled. It wasn’t. The experience was terrible, and they were super impolite when I tried to get in touch. Looking at the reviews, I feel stupid for not reading them before booking. Please avoid them. There are plenty of options in Dubai without having to get scammed.
