Dunes Hotel Apartment Al Barsha

Great spot for shoppers, with the metro station very close by. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the rooftop pool and gym area are amazing. A good choice for a leisure trip.

The ceiling was in such bad shape that half of it collapsed this morning, and I thought the other half would come down soon too. They didn't evacuate anyone or move guests to another floor. The studios also have an undisclosed connecting door to the apartment next door, so noise carries between the two. We changed rooms because our neighbors were loud at 1 or 2am. The next room was fine for a few days, then the same thing happened again. We asked to upgrade to an apartment because this setup wasn't acceptable and wasn't advertised, but the hotel refused. We got only one small bottle of water per week, although there should be at least two a day for studios meant for two people. Tea and coffee weren't replaced after we used them. Please avoid this place completely.

I used a Groupon deal for a meal for two at their Dunes Delight restaurant. It cost 27 dirhams, and the food was good in a relaxing setting.

Their delights restaurants serve Arabic and Indian food. I ordered the mixed grill, and it was fantastic.
