Four Points by Sheraton Bur Dubai Hotel

We’ve stayed here three times, and each visit has been excellent. The rooms are very clean, and housekeeping follows up on personal requests. Harris, Hassan, Abishek, and Desmond were helpful with luggage, beach towels, shuttles to Kite Beach and Dubai Mall, and taxis. Breakfast has a wide European and Indian selection, efficiently run by chef Shaiful and the restaurant crew. Matthew deserves a special mention for his fantastic help and hospitality. The price and quality are superb for Dubai. Highly recommend it for a clean, well-organized hotel with professional staff.

The spacious gym, comfortable clean rooms, and excellent atmosphere made for a relaxing, memorable stay at Four Points by Sheraton. Breakfast had a great variety, dinner was delicious, and the friendly staff were supportive throughout. Highly recommended.

The staff are excellent and will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable, but the property needs updating and has seen better days. We had a studio with a washing machine and kitchenette, yet there was no laundry detergent, so I had to buy a whole pack from a supermarket. The location’s proximity to metro stations is misleading: public transport isn’t convenient, and you need a cab. Breakfast had a decent spread but didn’t taste very good, and the coffee quality was especially poor.

The room’s water heater burst at about 1:30 a.m. while my wife was in the bathroom. It was shocking and distressing, and room service showed no urgency or apology when we called. They told us to wait until morning for repairs. We had early plans and insisted on changing rooms; they said they would arrange it in the morning. After packing as instructed, we waited nearly 30 minutes without help or updates. Dhilna was rude and dismissive, kept delaying things, and eventually stopped answering our calls. Only when I went to the front desk did manager Vinod learn what was happening. To his credit, he apologized and personally arranged the room change. I’ve never had such a terrible experience in a four-star hotel or encountered hospitality staff like Dhilna, even in lower-rated hotels. The staff were extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. Breakfast was mediocre and poorly managed; during my three-night stay, I waited 15 minutes for it each day. The hotel itself is okay, but I don’t recommend it. There are much better hotels nearby.
