Grand Continent Hotel

I extended my stay because of the service from Taskeen and Dimpal. They were welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful, always making sure I was comfortable and helping whenever I needed something. Their hard work and positive attitude stood out. Grand Continent Hotel in Deira is well located and good value, but the staff made the real difference. It's rare to meet people who care so much about guests. Thanks for a great stay, I'd happily come back.

I paid in advance for five nights, but checked out the next afternoon. The room smelled bad, the lighting was poor, and there was a roach when I walked in. There are four or five nightclubs in the hotel, including an African club and, I think, one or two from south India. The bass comes through under the bed and the noise at night makes it hard to sleep. It was a pretty frightening experience, especially with just one charging socket for all my devices. I asked at reception whether the noise would be quieter in my room, and the man simply said, “Noise will come, sir,” as if there was nothing to be done. If you want peace and quiet, I wouldn't recommend this place for a family or a couple. For a group of guys looking to party, it may suit. I changed hotels to LANDMARK GRAND at al rigga. It was much quieter and more peaceful, in a better location, and a five-minute walk from union metro station. It was only 40-50 dirhams more for four nights.

The staff treated customers poorly and need proper training. Booking.com should also remove the hotel's free parking option because it's misleading.

The hotel doesn't provide parking, and that was never made clear to me. I spent over seven hours searching for a space, which wasted time, caused stress, and ruined my stay. After a long day, guests shouldn't have to struggle just to park. In a busy area, a hotel should either provide parking or explain the situation clearly beforehand. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're travelling by car.
