Happy Academia JBR Apartments

The bathroom was dirty and in very poor condition, and the shower drain was blocked. There were things left in the bathroom when I checked in. I couldn’t sleep at all because maintenance started very early in the morning, so the stay was really uncomfortable and a bad experience.

The one real advantage of these apartments is being near the sea. We paid 1100 euros for deluxe apartment 903b, listed as 70 m2, but it felt like a shared flat. Behind a thin interior door, possibly to room 903a, a woman lived who was loud and constantly swore. She would come back from parties at 4 am and carry on. After I complained, things got a little better, but that wasn’t what I’d paid for. The stay ruined our trip. I checked later and couldn’t find anywhere saying the apartment was shared. What made it stranger, we used the “back entrance”: the closet and hanger were beside the door where the “swearing gnome” lived, on the other side of the apartment. We left our clothes and bags on the washing machine in the laundry room. The issues with the room itself seem minor beside having to share it.

The apartment was clean, service was good, and the location was nice.
