Hello Hostel

I had never left a bad review before, but I can’t hold back because nobody else should have to deal with this. I booked two days and paid, but no one responded. The room was dirty and smelled like a dustbin, so I asked for another bed just so I could sleep that night. They refused and told me to stay or leave. I cancelled, but they still wouldn’t refund me. One of the worst hostels I’ve seen in Dubai. Don’t judge it by the photos. There should be a rating below one.

The kitchen was filthy, including the fridge, and there was no hand wash. Even getting drinking water was a hassle because the bottle used a coin-operated dispenser. There was barely anywhere to dry clothes, just one small window, with no clips, so clothes could blow away. The hostel was extremely dirty and smelled bad throughout. There was no proper AC, the beds had no sheets, and the bunk beds felt weak and unsafe. The receptionist took cash without giving a proper printed receipt. There was no computer system for tracking visitor or guest information, which felt unsafe and unprofessional. The place should not call itself an international hostel. It felt like a workers’ hostel and wasn’t suitable for tourists. I’ve travelled a lot, and this is the worst hostel I’ve stayed in anywhere. Do NOT book it. Save your money and find another hostel in Dubai.

I lost a lot of my belongings here. You can’t safely leave your things at the hostel, they’ll disappear. The caretaker sleeps all day and doesn’t look after the place. One of the worst hostels ever. Please don’t come here.

I’ve never had a worse shared room in Dubai. There’s no cleaning or caretaker, and no signboards to help you find the room. You have to wander around and somehow locate it, then climb two floors because there’s no lift. Once you get there, nobody answers. If I could give less than one star, I would.
