Cigarette ashes keep landing directly on our balcony while we’re still living in this building. We’ve informed management repeatedly, and they’ve done nothing. There’s no accountability or standards, and clearly no care for residents’ hygiene or safety. Definitely not family-friendly, especially for anyone with children.!!!

Location is the only good thing about this building. I’ve lived here a long time, but after a recent problem with the chiller service, I’m leaving soon, like all my friends who have already moved out. Management brought in a company whose reviews are one star and warn developers not to work with it or stay in its buildings. The service has been awful. They charged me extra bills and disconnected my AC, then wanted extra money to reconnect it even though I was paying my bills. I complained to management, but nobody cared, even though I’m an old tenant. There’s poor customer service across the board. Neighbors make noise, strange people ring your bell, and when I complain no one responds. If you want to be without AC in hot weather, you can stay here. The building gets worse year after year.

The furnished apartments at Damac Upper Crest come with hotel-like services, well-equipped amenities, and breathtaking Downtown views. The location is very walkable and next to Dubai Mall, which is accessible in 8 minutes. It’s a good value if convenience and the views are what you’re after. Some reviews mention that housekeeping and amenities can vary, and there are broader concerns about the developer’s reputation for long-term investment. Commentary about DAMAC also often mentions build quality, service issues, and above-average fees on some other projects.

Common areas are always dirty and smell bad, the gym is nearly destroyed, and the building is full of cockroaches. If you try to sort out a problem, they blame you. Security and reception seem determined to ruin your stay, and their work is 0. Nothing is allowed here. You can’t use the balcony or leave a rug at your apartment entrance. If you have a pet, you have to take the freight elevator, which smells of garbage, has many couriers, and takes 10 minutes to arrive. Worst service in Dubai. I don’t recommend this building, especially security and reception.
