I booked Aditya’s 30th-floor apartment, Apt 3001, expecting to use the gym because it was advertised. When I arrived, I was told guests couldn’t use it and that it was for residents only. The listing should have made that clear. Airbnb support told me to leave immediately when I raised the issue, which felt completely disrespectful and showed no hospitality. There are better places in this area, with honest listings, considerate hosts and gym access. Save yourself the stress and book somewhere else.

My kids loved the surroundings, and the place felt like home. Our Host Mark from Gardenia homes was understanding and really supportive. A very good place to stay.

The bay views and location were the highlights for me. It’s a little away from the city center, but cafes and restaurants are all around, which made it a nice spot for a relaxing stay with some local flavor. The apartment was clean and well maintained, though the building is clearly older. Chipped, worn bathroom tiles made a poor first impression, and while everything worked, it didn’t feel as luxurious as advertised. Booking.com’s customer service reps were friendly, but not very responsive when I contacted them. The cancellation policy was strict and gave little to no flexibility. I’d consider this place for a quiet bayside location near places to eat, but the older building and inflexible policy are worth knowing about. It may not suit someone looking for a luxurious stay.

JBR is right downstairs, just an elevator ride away, and the beach is a real three-minute walk. There’s 24/7 security and lots to do on level P, including two pools, a gym and play areas for kids. The apartments aren’t new, but they aren’t old either, and feel very homey.
