Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights

I had a pleasant stay and would visit again. My one suggestion is to add more EV chargers and manage them better. Some guests leave their cars plugged in long after charging is done, which makes it hard for others to use them. It would help if guests left a contact number with security so they can be reached when charging is complete.

The room was spacious and in fairly good condition, but the housekeeping was awful and there weren’t any tissues. I came for the pool, only to find it closed for maintenance, and the website hadn’t mentioned that. The other pool was small and crowded. Getting my luggage at checkout was another mess. I asked for it to be brought down to the basement, then waited nearly half an hour. When I called to ask where it was, the staff member who answered was rude and made me angry. I didn’t feel welcomed, and I don’t think I’ll return.

The breakfast buffet was well organized even with lots of visitors, and the beds were amazingly comfortable. Our room was huge and clean, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The pool was under maintenance, and we hadn’t been told when booking. Also, toothbrushes cost AED 20 each. Aside from those things, it was a lovely hotel and worth the visit.

The room service employee used a key card to enter my room while I was in the bathroom and couldn’t answer the repeated knocks. They should have waited or come back later. That was a serious invasion of my privacy and left me feeling unsafe. We also weren’t told before check-in that the swimming pool was closed for maintenance, even though it’s one of the hotel’s advertised facilities. I found that misleading. The poor communication and lack of respect made me feel uncomfortable, disrespected and let down by management. This was one of my worst hotel stays. I wouldn’t recommend it, and I’ll never stay here again.
