Icon Hotel Apartments

The staff were good and the cleaning was fine. The rooms are acceptable, though the equipment is only average, and the building and its facilities feel old. Some things don’t work properly. The location is handy for some markets, with Nesto and Carrefour hypermarkets nearby. They offered a very low price when I arrived, then raised it several times after I had settled in. I don’t think they’re fair to deal with.

The room wasn’t ready when we arrived. It was still very dirty, and staff only began cleaning after we’d already gone in. It was a mess and clearly hadn’t been prepared for guests. We also asked for an extra comforter and got one with visible stains. That was unacceptable. Cleanliness should be basic at a hotel, and this was far below that.

I loved the rooftop pool, it was spotless and a nice way to unwind after a busy day. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly, professional, and ready to help from the moment I arrived. Icon Hotel Apartments is also really convenient, with supermarkets, restaurants, malls, and the metro all a short walk away. Free parking was a big plus, and I always found a spot. The Wi-Fi was reliable too. Great value and a lovely stay, I’d happily come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Dubai.

The rooftop is a lovely spot to relax, and the apartment was surprisingly quiet for somewhere in the city centre. I stayed in a studio with a kitchen and enjoyed being able to make my own breakfast. There are good restaurants downstairs for lunch or dinner. Restaurants, a supermarket, the metro, and even a mall are all just a short walk away. The building has what you need for a longer stay, including a kitchen, ovens, washing machine, and iron. The staff were kind and helpful, and manager Ahmed gave me a very good rate for my next stay.
