I spent 43 nights at Jacob’s Garden Hotel, and its location was a big advantage, close to the metro, restaurants, and plenty of places to hang out and eat. The hotel was clean, full of natural light, and good value. There’s a pool, small gym, sauna, and steam room too. The staff took great care of me throughout. Jayakumar manages operations very well, Sushant at the front desk always greeted me with a warm smile, and Ebtihal at reception was courteous. Thanks as well to housekeeping, especially Dolson, Avinash, and Estha, for their attention and for keeping everything in good shape. A very welcoming stay.

I’m deeply disappointed by what happened during my seven years living in the Middle East. I had a confirmed reservation for June 6th and have also been a monthly resident at this hotel for a long time. While waiting for the manager, someone I know from my hometown, security staff subjected me to verbal abuse and judgmental remarks. Their accusations and conduct were inappropriate, and made me question the hotel’s claim to be family friendly. The manager later called and threatened that I would have to leave or face police involvement, even though I had done nothing wrong. No one from the hotel tried to investigate what happened between security and me. That lack of concern for guests and professionalism is unacceptable. Across my extensive time in the Middle East, I have never faced such disrespectful, baseless comments from hotel staff, receptionists, managers, or security. I believe the Department of Economic Development (DET) should require suitable training for hotel staff and management so they have the skills and professionalism these roles require. The hotel’s hospitality and commitment to family values seem severely lacking. I urge people to be cautious and protect their personal integrity when dealing with establishments like this.

The condition of the room was awful. There was a strong mold smell, dirty carpet stains, a toilet that wouldn’t drain properly, and a shower that took over 30 minutes to heat up. We called maintenance, who took more than 20 minutes to arrive and fix it. The parking area was narrow and small, so you had to be careful not to hit your own or someone else’s car. Food smells from the first-floor Indian restaurant reached the elevator and several floors of hallways. There was also a lot of hallway noise in the morning, on top of street noise. My wife and I had one of our worst hotel stays in the Emirates. I’ve lived in the UAE for 10 years, and for the first time I felt treated with prejudice for being a Brazilian foreigner. The hotel seems to be of Indian origin. At check-in, staff seemed impatient with me, while smiling and giving more attention to nearby Indian guests. It made me feel awful, but since we were there for one night, we didn’t think it would be a major problem at first. We checked in at 8:30 pm. In other hotels, arriving late often meant we were given extra checkout time, but here they called our room at 11:00 am and told us to leave by 12:00 pm. When I asked for one more hour, they refused right away or said they’d charge us for another day. Receptionists, security, and even cleaning staff looked at us with disdain, unless the guests were Indian, in which case they treated them well. Thank God we only stayed one night. We never want to return and go through that again.

The room was spotless when I arrived, and the housekeeping team kept it that way throughout my stay. They worked hard, were efficient, and treated me with real politeness and respect. Their consistent care made the hotel feel welcoming. Thanks to the staff.

We spent four days at Jacobs Garden Hotel after coming from Ireland to see Dubai. The family room, number 414, was unbelievably spacious, and the rooms were clean. The bathrooms were in pristine condition, and housekeeping’s attention to detail deserves a mention. One of the best hotel stays we’ve had. Very good value and highly recommended, five stars from me.
