JLT is a great area to live in, and the location here is amazing. The gym and pool are being renovated at the moment, so the building should have new facilities in a few weeks. Definitely a nice place to stay.

I’m leaving as soon as my one-year contract ends. Living here has been a really bad experience, with something going wrong almost every month. I don’t know whether to blame the agent handling my unit or the building management company. The AC needs a deep duct cleaning, and mold has started growing around some of the vents. I’ve raised this with the agent several times, but nothing has been done. The building maintenance team said they couldn’t fix it themselves either. We also had to replace three broken kitchen valves that were leaking, all in less than a year. The water pipes have caused outages for what feels like the third or even fifth time this year. I’ve lost count of how often I suddenly found out the water had been cut. The gym renovation sounded good because the gym was terrible, but they’ve missed their deadline and won’t give a specific finish date. And whenever there’s a building update, I never get an email. I repeatedly asked to be added to the mailing list, but it never happened. That meant no warning about the water cuts either. Just a bad year here, and I’m moving out as soon as I can.
