Jumeira Rotana Hotel

Five stars don't feel like enough. I was so happy at the Rotana Hotel in Jumeirah, especially in suite 223, where the surroundings were comfortable, elegant, and peaceful. The whole team were warm and attentive throughout. Breakfast with the restaurant team was a highlight. It felt like being with family, and everyone helped me feel that I belonged rather than being just another guest. Thank you to everyone who made the stay so memorable. We spent four nights here and the service was great. Mohsin, Pawan, and Sulman were helpful the whole time, and the breakfast kitchen staff were brilliant. The stay was fabulous, and the location is really convenient with local places nearby. We'd stay again.

I don't like leaving a harsh, negative review, but I promised to give honest, unfiltered feedback. The hotel carries the Rotana name but didn't live up to that kind of regality. Our package included half board, so we asked reception which restaurants we could use. They said restaurant A and B. At dinner we went to restaurant A, and its manager told us it was only valid at restaurant B. I checked with reception the next day, and they again said A and B. After another long day, we went to A and were told once more that it was only B. Why tell us that twice, on two different days? They could have admitted the mistake after the first time and said it was only B. Instead they didn't honor what they'd told us and left us waiting at the restaurant for 30 minutes. The rooms were dusty, the floors smelled strongly of cigarettes, and I don't know what more to say about the staff.

I haven't stayed at the hotel, but I regularly visit its bar while I'm in Dubai, and it's become one of my favorite spots. The setting feels relaxed and welcoming, whether I'm dropping in for a quiet drink or spending the evening. Drinks are consistently good, but the service is what keeps me coming back. Alberto and Ay Khan deserve a special mention. They're attentive, friendly, and professional without hovering. They remember what you like and take time to chat, so you feel like a valued regular. Highly recommended if you're looking for a quality bar with a good team behind it.
