Key View - Red Residence

What I liked about Red Residence was having a quiet place to return to after spending time in the city. It’s in Dubai Sports City, and Dubai’s busy center, including Dubai Mall, is about 20 minutes away. You can get to the main attractions, restaurants, and luxury shopping, then come back and relax away from the urban bustle. The apartments are comfortable and convenient, with spacious, well-appointed units. That mix of accessibility and calm makes Red Residence a good fit for tourists and business travelers. It feels like a cozy base for exploring Dubai.

The lack of maintenance is hard to ignore. Water leaks through the ceilings, floor tiles are cracked, the walls and corridors are stained, and there are insects around. The place doesn’t feel hygienic. In my garage, people park in my spot every day, which drives me insane, and I’ve seen trash left on the floor in the shaft rooms instead of thrown into the shaft. Noise also comes through the walls when 10 people are living in one apartment. The rooftop gym has very little equipment, just two treadmills that make weird noises and don’t get cleaned. The pool closes at 10 PM, and the sauna hasn’t been working for a while. The community behavior and Asteco’s neglect are disappointing, and management isn’t doing anything about it. The service fees for owners feel like a total scam. I wouldn’t recommend buying or renting in this tower. Living there is a nightmare.

I’ve lived here since the building opened. The first three years were wonderful, with a new building, spacious layout, great balcony views, and a family-oriented feel. The fixtures and elevator were poor quality from the start, though, like a doll house. Now it’s unbearable. Most flats are bed spaced, with 8-10 people crammed into them, mostly men, and the slow lift is always packed. The place is dirty and poorly maintained, and I can’t use the building facilities. There are COCKROACHES! My flat was brand new when I moved in, and I’ve been the only one living in it, which is the only reason I’ve managed this long. I’m moving out soon. Do not stay here.

It’s a good place to stay, but the pool is closed for an hour every day starting at one in the afternoon. Guests can’t use it then, and if you’re swimming, they make you get out. Security is very bad and impolite.
