The view was beautiful, and I enjoyed it every day. There was some snoring, as happens in dorms, but it didn’t spoil my stay. I was nervous about travelling alone for the first time, especially after a terrible booking experience elsewhere, but the Lunar Hostel team made me feel safe and welcome. They were all kind, helpful, and friendly, and arranged an instant check-in. I stayed from 8th to 13th February 2023 and had an amazing time. The atmosphere was warm, and the people I met were great. I’ll definitely stay again next time I’m in Dubai. Highly recommended!

The location and atmosphere are really good, and it’s a nice hostel. The main issue during our stay was getting into the building. The office management wouldn’t open the automatic door, so we had to call security every time. There was also usually nobody at reception.

The place was clean and in a great location, and all the staff were welcoming and really nice. Dorcas was especially lovely. I had a great experience and will definitely come back.

The staff are lovely and did their best in a difficult situation, and the hostel has strong WiFi and great city views. Still, those positives didn’t make up for a poor stay. The listing says four-bed dorms, but they’re actually eight-bed rooms. There’s just one shower and one toilet for 12-15 men to share, and the outlet by my bed didn’t work. The owner said I’d get a partial refund, but never paid it. The pool also always seemed to be unavailable for some reason.

Dorcas was a huge help when I arrived. It’s an amazing hostel.
