The people are what keep bringing us back to Pullman Dubai Downtown. Reception, housekeeping, valet, and customer service have all treated our family with warmth and professionalism. After our visits, they know us and try to help where they can, including room upgrades when available. We've stayed here for three years, usually as two adults and a child under 10, and each visit has been exceptional. This was our third New Year's Eve in a row on the Lolita terrace, and the Burj Khalifa view and atmosphere created by the hotel team were unforgettable. The Mexican, Mediterranean, and Austrian/German restaurants are excellent and consistently high quality. We feel at home here, which is rare, and Pullman Dubai Downtown has become our first choice in Dubai. We expect to keep coming back.

This morning Aaron, Shiro, and Florence kept cracking nice jokes and helping me laugh, especially when things are stressful. I really appreciate their humor and the support it gave me. The staff overall have been great since we arrived. Thank you so much.

The staff at the front desk stayed kind, pleasant, and professional, even though they were clearly overwhelmed. I arrived at 4:30 P.M., well after the 2:00 P.M. check-in time, waited 10 minutes to reach the desk, then was told to wait while they made sure the room was ready. I didn't get my key until an hour after that. The lobby was crowded and smelled unpleasant. The building felt poorly maintained, with broken and scratched floor tiles, badly stained carpets, beat-up elevators, and a rough, jarring ride. In the room, the bed was sloppily made, the chairs were stained, and grime was visible under the side table glass. For a 5-star hotel, it completely missed the mark. There was only 1 liter of water in the room, and I couldn't get a refill. After several calls to room service went unanswered, I gave up. I understand there are difficulties in the area right now, but that doesn't excuse this level of failure. I booked two days and checked out after one. I expected much more.

Great for families or solo guests, with a lovely view, good food, and a convenient spot near Burj and business bay. The hospitality at this hostel was excellent. Ms Flowrence looked after us at breakfast and made sure I got my favourite Indian cuisine. Highly recommended.
