Marquise Square - 1517- BB

We’re concerned about Inayat Alhashimi, who was on the old security team. Even though that team was replaced, he’s often seen around the building or talking to the new security team, saying he works in "short term rentals". He makes residents uncomfortable and even tried to join the marquise square resident WhatsApp group under a fake name, apparently to see what odd jobs he could do while posing as a resident. We consider this serious fraud and can’t tolerate it. We strongly recommend raising this with the highest member of security.

I lived here for three years, and it’s sad to see what’s happened. This used to be one of the best buildings in Business Bay. Since the management changed, there’s been a cockroach epidemic, dirt everywhere, and very aggressive security. I really don’t recommend it.

The noise makes this a poor choice for a long-term rental. There are many Airbnb apartments where people often party, and with the thin doors, walls, and windows, you can hear late-returning neighbors clearly, even when your apartment is at the end of the corridor. Since the management company changed, there have also been recurring cockroach problems and poor ventilation that leaves excess moisture, damaging clothes and affecting health. Basement Level 3 seems to be left with a lot of cement dust, and the gym should be cleaner too. I also have concerns about security, since visitors entering the building aren't registered. Marquise Square Tower used to be one of the best buildings in Business Bay, but I can't recommend it for a long-term rental.

I spent more than a week here and had a great time, so I'm not sure what to make of all the negative reviews. Our apartment, 1712, had an amazing view, and the whole building is new and finished to a high standard. The pool is big and clean, great for swimming, and the gym is very well equipped. The location is great too, close to Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, and the new marina.
