Even with a valid Ejari and all payments cleared, tenants can be blocked from accessing their apartments over internal disputes between the owner and management. Tenants have nothing to do with those issues. That’s what happened here, and it’s part of the completely unprofessional, unresponsive way the Pantheon Elysee management team treats residents. They’re careless, poorly coordinated, and show no respect for tenants’ time or legal rights. Calls and emails can go unanswered, check-ins get delayed, and everything becomes complicated. For a property of this size, the disorganization and arrogance are shocking. If you’re thinking of renting or buying here, think twice. The management can make the experience stressful and disappointing. This is the worst management team I’ve dealt with in Dubai.

The apartment is stunning, and the landlord is one of the kindest people in Dubai. The building management, though, has been awful. The manager is rude, careless, cynical, and unprofessional. We tried to put together furniture and curtains on Sunday at 2 pm, but the building notices don’t give specific days or times for drilling. He still wouldn’t allow it and even threatened me over the phone. When the workers came again Monday at 7 pm, they weren’t allowed to continue either. Communication is awful and the rudeness is constant. The security guard also often uses his phone for personal matters while on duty.

The cleaners are the one bright spot. They work VERY hard and are always busy doing their best. Otherwise, I can’t wait for my lease to end and to move out. The fire alarm goes off at least three times a week, perhaps more when I’m away. In the update, I should add that it sounds only in the bedroom, with a very loud noise and red light, morning or night, three or four times weekly. I’ve reported it to security for a year with no action. They blame my apartment, though it can be heard in other apartments too. They keep saying they’ll call the fire department to check, but it never happens. The next time I complain, they act as if they’ve never seen me before. Residents leave trash on the floor rather than open the garbage chute door, and people park in each other’s spaces. AD plates and rental cars are always in residents’ spots. There are too many dogs, and security doesn’t care or take responsibility. The apartment doors have no peepholes, which is VERY unusual for Dubai and feels unsafe for single women. If you’re a civilized person, you’ll be unhappy here. DO NOT MOVE HERE.
