Parkside Suites Hotel Apartment

🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 Very bad experience, I don’t recommend staying here. The room and even the washrooms were not clean at all. The bed and sheets were dirty, and the appliances and everything else in the room were in poor condition. There was barely anything usable. The WiFi kept failing, and we couldn’t get the TV online to use YouTube or anything else. The place looked completely different from the pictures posted on Google. I booked it to celebrate my friend’s birthday, but the whole thing was ruined. I feel ashamed now, wondering what he thinks of where I took him for his birthday.

The area is a nice place to live, with a decent, clean family neighborhood, and the location is great. It can feel like home, but the hotel apartment cleaning is only average. The apartments weren’t as clean as they should have been or as the pictures suggested. There were cockroaches, and the bathrooms were smelly, dirty, and broken. We had to switch apartments because the first one was unclean. The next was a little better, but still below standard.

During my nine-day stay, my room was cleaned only once, and they just took out the trash. The parking area was disgusting, with a bad smell and drainage water everywhere. I don’t know why Agoda gives this place four stars. At this price, I definitely can’t recommend it.

We arrived a little after midnight, worn out from a long day of travel, and the apartment was nothing like the photos. There was a foul smell as soon as we entered, rust on the furniture and fixtures, and dust bunnies everywhere. The bedsheets were the only thing that looked even remotely clean, and I doubted those too. The bathtub and towels were stained. Within five minutes, we were feeling physically unwell. We told the concierge, who showed us other rooms. The first, on the 7th floor, had no working lights, so we couldn’t see inside. The second had flickering lights and a broken bathroom heater. The third was a little better, but still nowhere near acceptable: the floor was grimy, and I didn’t feel comfortable opening my suitcase. Insects of all shapes and sizes were crawling around the lobby and elevator, which felt like a health hazard. I know the building is old, but that doesn’t excuse the condition. Management should maintain basic hygiene and safety or invest in a full renovation. We’d booked a whole week, but lasted less than 12 hours. After a few extremely uncomfortable hours of sleep, we checked out as early as we could the next morning. The manager only offered to show us more rooms once we said we were leaving. Why not offer better options when we first raised our concerns? This was one of the worst places we’ve ever stayed. As tourists arriving late, we had very limited options, and this place turned into a nightmare. I’ll never return and strongly advise others to avoid it.
