The bed in Room 303 was so uncomfortable and poking that I couldn’t sleep at all. It’s now 6:00 AM, and I still have a few more days booked, though I may lose the rest of my stay because of these conditions. A 4-star hotel should not be like this. With the smell, poor maintenance, slow service, and unusable bed, the stay has been extremely frustrating. I’ll add images and further updates. The room smelled bad, including the floor. Instead of fixing it, management put candles and fragrances every 3-4 feet, which only made it worse. The bathroom lights were very dim, and the grouting hadn’t been done. There were signs of neglect everywhere: a cracked bidet and TV screen, peeling wallpaper, a tilted photo frame, a fridge that didn’t work, no room service menu, no bathroom hanger, and a bathrobe I had to request separately. The quality was extremely poor, like a very cheap budget hotel, and service was slow and unresponsive. I was shocked this place is classed as a 4-star hotel. I had stayed here to assess the brand before booking its Business Bay branch for New Year, but now I won’t consider the brand again. Not recommended, even if it were the last hotel on earth. I’m giving 2 stars for service only because the staff were polite.

The curtains were heavily stained, the towels had visible stains, and the sheets looked old and worn. When my partner misplaced her earrings in the room, we asked reception for help, but Shweta was rude, dismissive, and didn’t seem willing to listen. We work in hospitality too and understand guest service, so this fell far short of what we expected.

The location is convenient, and the service was good overall. Staff were friendly and cooperative, and the room was clean and comfortable. I had a pleasant stay at Ramee Royal Hotel and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Dubai.

For a short solo trip to Dubai, this hotel worked well for me. It’s close to the airport and shopping malls, and a good base if you want to check out the city’s nightlife. I’d recommend it for bachelors or anyone travelling alone.

I had a frustrating time trying to get my phone charger back after leaving it at the hotel. I called the same evening, and staff confirmed it had been found. A week later, my friend went to collect it, but they said they didn’t have it. After more follow-ups, they confirmed again and sent me a photo of the correct charger on WhatsApp. I arranged another pickup through my friend, but the staff handed over an old iPhone charger instead. When I showed them the photo they’d sent earlier, they said they weren’t responsible for my item anymore.
